We are delighted to announce that Agnès Penot, our Director of Research, is a contributing author on a new book about the history of art galleries in France from 1840-present. Agnès wrote the chapter focusing on 1840-1880, reflecting on the changes that occurred during this period and the fact that art dealing was not yet a career.
